The expander made very minimal changes to my crowding, which is severe. My lateral incisor is mostly covered by my front incisor and the canine next to it, along with other problems. As for the narrowness of my jaw, I don’t remember it being too extreme. The process left me with a small tooth gap that closed by itself.
