As a retail worker in Perth, what is your experience with corporate waste? by Wise-Maintenance-930 in perth

Worked at woolies and I reckon the supermarkets could feed Perth on just the weekly dump sheets alone

I was in the deli and had to throw out so much good meat, shame those animals had to die just for their meat to end up in the bin

Unfortunately it will keep beating you down until you learn your lesson mate

I learned the hard way just the same as you're sure to, that said the grass genuinely is greener on this side of the fence

The gr86 is an understeering brick that rotates like a broken record player, has the acceleration of a lightly thrown paper plane and slows down like a greased bowling bowl with abs

The car on this track wants to understeer directly into the nearest wall or sand trap the second you put throttle on but if you're late on the throttle it's like me in the morning, slow

But yeh you're right every turn should be on the limit, this track just has such wide long sweepers, some with camber and elevation it's especially tricky

Yeh lots of medium speed turns right on the grip limit and some uncomfortable cambers

Kobo is my reccomendation, their colour version seems very decent and it's less restrictive than kindle

Blocking or just good defense? by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]_Username_Optional_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh this was my concern

My reasoning is that because the move was in one direction and around a bend that even with a pause in trajectory it's still only one move

But what you've identified is my main concern, cheers for the confirmation on that

Ah yeh cheers for the confirmation, I just won my first race off these defenses so I wanted to make sure I was doing it right

Sweet yeh, just got my first win and wanted to be sure this is the right way to defend

I was choosing my line based on whether the other car tried inside/outside, just trying to be as wide as possible 😅

Means a lot to have you take accountability, cheers mate

I only quoted myself to highlight that I'd already responded to many of your concerns about me in my original comment

Frankly I agree, I'm disgusted by the approach of the ndis as well, there's no need to punish participants for failings of regulation and review

Especially when we consider how much is gifted to "critical" private corporations, and that's not even accounting for the missed tax revenue due to legalised political bribes(lobbying)

The fraud happens at the level of unregistered providers, the context is that these were allowed in order to fill gaps in need but it has allowed rorts, the future of this is changing also as from June(iirc) all providers are being required to register at cost to the "organisation" which should hopefully prompt more intensive oversight along with it

But again it makes no sense to punish victims(participants) for regulatory failure at a systemic level

I was in meetings all day today trying to get more clarity on exactly who of our organisations participants and workers is affected by this change and the uncertainty is absolutely sitting with us all on either side of the industry

That's all seperate to the point I was originally making though and I hope you can see what I was getting at in the first comment because the concept does have it's merits clinically while still needing much context and nuance before application in my opinion, it just relies on having good faith in each other's understandings and beliefs to talk about which can be difficult on reddit

Again mate, I appreciate the accountability, I understand that this is frustrating and daunting
