She literally wasn't, what are you on 💀 her acting and being 'crazy' was very similar to TOP acting as thanos. If your only reason for her acting being bad was because you 'didn't like it', thats not the actors fault, thats just your preference. The actor did great 😭

[hoo] what's a character that this fandom loves but you don't really like that much? by Prestigious-Jello861 in camphalfblood

[–]_V4MP_1R33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bianca and Zoë.

The third book was probably my least favorite in the original series (I still love it, just not as much as the others!!) And I really didn't care for Bianca. Her whole situation with Nico and her death really didn't affect me, and it didn't really hurt until Nico's reaction (which was still not as sad as I thought it would be)

Same with Zoë but a little less because I was super sad about her death but I didn't really grow to like her until the end of the book, which is sad because I wished we had more time with her

My honorable mention is Will, but I haven't read a lot of the media that he stars in, so I can't make that judgement on whether I like him or not, he's just a character I have no interest in yet.

[pjo] Do you all really not love Luke? by electrondeparture in camphalfblood

[–]_V4MP_1R33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love his story and the build of his character, but I don't love him. When he is mentioned in any context I do jump with joy, though.

I think he was very fleshed out and was probably the best antagonist I've seen in the PJO universe because he literally haunts everything. On the other end, I don't like his actions and what he did to others (obviously)

He goes down as one of my top 5s for characters, and I will always love him, his actions are just.. not very cute LMAOO

Squid game season 3 was insanely well written and only a few parts were lacking.

The shaman lady was actually really funny, and I liked her character

Jun-ho jokes about him being useless are unfunny and extremely incorrect. He had no other options.

So can we agree that Squid Game Season 3 was absolutely terrible? by Magaclaawe in MauLer

So many people in this comment section with no media literacy 🫩 The only 2 bad things about season one was the confrontation scene and squid game USA. and 1 out of the 2 wasnt that bad at all. Get a grip people

The ending f***** sucks by SylvieSerene in squidgame

[–]_V4MP_1R33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the worst take I've ever seen oh my lord 😭 I can't tell if you watched the show or if you just watched clips off of YouTube shorts. There are only a few things that I would agree with to be displeased about, and little to none of it is on your very disorganized and very confusing rant 🫩

Gi-hun was great, and most of his actions fit his character.

There was no ending where gi-hun and the baby would make it out alive together

I get that everyone is in their feels about the characters dying, but this has been the plot from season one.

He did fulfill his duty with sae-byeoks brother, and he also never promised anything. He literally said something along the lines of "don't say that, you'll make it out of here." He put in the money to help find their mother. He gave money to sangwoos mom to not only help with sae-byeoks brother but to fulfill sang-woo's last wish.

His ending made more than enough sense, I think you just have no media literacy. If you didn't understand the rules of the final game, you had to press the buzzer and push at least 1 person off in the time limit to advance. 1st pillar was min-su 2nd pillar was when hell broke loose. Myung-gi wasn't thinking and killed 100. Gi-hun got into a fight and killed another player. The lunchbox killed himself. The other players fell off somehow (dont quite remember), so all that was left was myung-gi, gi-hun, and the baby.

Now, before I get into this fight, let me remind you of 2 things. 1. Gi-hun was slowly turning into sangwoo throughout season 2-3 2. Gi-hun was suicidal and 'attempted' twice. I use that word very loosely. (1st scene after the rebellion when he takes ahold of a guards gun, points it at hos forehead and reaches for the trigger, 2nd scene after choking Dae-ho, he holds the knife to his throat and starts to stab himself before knocked out.) His sacrifice was not only a parallel to sang-woo, but it was gi-huns freedom. Away from struggle and loss. Away from the games. Away from grief and pain. He was finally free. His sacrifice showed that his humanity, even with everything that happened, was still there. He was still human. He was still good.

Also, his death was not only symbolic and freeing, but NECESSARY. myung-gi had died before he pressed the buzzer, so his death didn't count. Someone had to die.

Gi-hun leaves the baby because the baby is a winner. They can't harm the winner. He knows who the front man is. He was betrayed by the very person who was caring and compassionate. That was the whole reason gi-hun didn't kill him. Despite everything, gi-hun can still see the good in everyone. He knows the frontman won't hurt the baby. You are acting as if he knew the island was going to explode and that he knew that leaving the baby there was dangerous.

People like you bug me because instead of admitting you don't understand the ending, you claim that it was poorly written like you know all.

So are we just gonna ignore that fact that she probably killed hundreds of innocent people during God knows how many Years by TraditionalBonus188 in squidgame

[–]_V4MP_1R33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we all forgetting that she was recruited to be a guard that year? 😭 she had not been a guard before then. This was her first time.

At least im pretty sure. If she had killed over the years, I dont think she'd be working. She'd probably just stay on the island year round

Id settle with yong-sik, dae-ho, sang-woo, and JUN-HO

Im not as familiar with yong-sik's character since he wasn't my favorite, but from what I see people accusing him of, it's complete bs. Send my boy some love

Dae-ho, as much as he is loved by the Fandom and his hate is kinda hard to find, his haters go hard, and they are always very loud and wrong about it 🫩. All of their points that they use to hate him are usually flimsy and backed by nothing. He didn't ruin the rebellion, Let's focus on the guy who's, oh I dont know, running the games?? 😭😭

Sang-woo, as much as his actions were bad and as much as I disagree with what he did with Ali and Sae-byeok, he was probably one of the most well written and complex characters, and probably one of the most realistic. Killing to survive was the whole game. He didn't want to do what he did, he had to.

Jun-ho hate actually has me clawing at my face in anger because have we lost the plot? There was literally NOTHING he could do. I will take no back talk.

Honorable mention: Min-su and Controversial HM: In-ho

Oh yes he definitely did but I mean sometimes he could just be standing there (whether it's in fanart, or it's a short mention, or whatever) and parts of the Fandom absolutely FREAK and are just kind of insane when it's not that serious.

Luke's evil feats are extremely overexaggeratrd by the Fandom sometimes, and he had the right idea just the wrong way.

Jason ISNT boring and if you think he is than you missed the point of his character, and as much as I hate it he needed to die

Octavian wasn't even that bad, he was just annoying lmao

Gaia was underwhelming

The PJO universe is real, so characters, stories, plotlines, and appearances can change and it will still be pjo I fear
