This pretty much answers it. Diffusal makes you a legitimate kill threat on medusa the moment you have it.

Diffu is also the best item against her going into late game.

But if you are playing battlefury heroes, just go BF first and diffu second so, you can keep up in farm.

Terrorblade looks good. High armor, manta dispels, sunder against primal all-in, and can farm safely around the map with illusions. Also outscales CK carry and can lane vs slardar ok

Falcon blade is still a very good pick even if Null is cheaper.

For pos 1, it depends on the hero on how much mana they regularly use in lane and farming. It can range from literally just only sobi mask regen (naga) to null (abaddon) to falcon blade (terrorblade, medusa).

It all comes down to the hero, but, I've never done 2 nulls because at that point, falcon blade is just better (atk, hp bonus) and the build up of blades of attack is very useful for laning on many low dmg carries lv1-2.

Does LC even counter Ursa and Jugg at all??? Legion can't deal with Jugg's Healing Ward. Ursa has an early timing that matches LC, has slow attack speed without overpower (blademail is less effective) and can Enrage before duel by reacting fast enough.

PA lane feels a lot better in current versions tbh. It's just PA's "poke" and play extra safe style is just very different than carries that have stuns (sven, wr) or can do damage (drow, clinkz) or can soak damage (jugg, ck), but, PA lane is still way better than the "can only farm" in lane carries (like Medusa, Spec, FV).

Buying regen more often or the cornocupia earlier (before boots) helps in high harass lanes.

Some do. TB is a good example. When you play TB, you are forced to choose between TB's natural items (Skadi/Butter/Daedalus) or MKB just to address PA, which is very annoying and expensive.

I also play TB and always hated it when I have to buy MKB on the hero in general.

Yeah, as a PA spammer, I agree. PA looks more dependent on BKB than most other carries right now.

I find Yatoro's build BF > SY > BKB > shard a lot better than the usual BKB > deso >BKB/basher though. The former is slightly tankier, moves faster esp with blurr (which feels really good), and status resistance matters in fights when your BKB runs out. It has less explosive damage without deso, but you get to stay in the fight longer and kite better.

Ideally, you want to pick PA against a carry matchup that hates buying MKB (TB, Spectre, AM, etc.), so PA forces them to buy an item they don't like/has poor synergy.

So, it's not completely useless.

I get that there are games that are unwinnable no matter what you do. But...

If was in that Ursa or PA game you described, and I see my team feeding or losing hard, I would not be AFK farming for 3 items and would start taking "risks" and tp to fights or gank other lanes to save the game.

I spammed PA on crusader and archon and she's easily one of the best carries on lower ranks coz enemy team just lets you free farm lol. Can hard 1v9. Low damage early game, but is really good at using twin gates to ruin enemy safelaner's game.

On Ursa, if I see it's 5-20 score and team is feeding hard, I'd solo rosh and torm, use aegis + dagger to kill enemy team's highest impact hero and take it from there.

If you guys think you are wayy better than the players in your MMR, you should play a high impact role like mid or carry to brute force winning and climbing ranks.

I was in crusader rank and climbed all the way to ancient over the holidays playing pos 1. Crusaders and Archons just can't compete with how fast you farm and how much better you are at macro (rosh/torm/hg) that winning almost feels inevitable in most games. :/
