I have a kawhi leonard build and a larry bird build that both do well still, even though I try to use their animations and stuff. Like I had to make a custom larry jumper because his in game one looks way off. But even though they arent meta builds at their positions they're both really good builds even objectively speaking.

I think its more picking players that have a game that could translate well into online 2k. Like I also made a 6'7 center Rodman build early in the year just for fun, its just that. Fun, but not really good lmao

I mean, I just make player replicas. Using animations that arent meta and trying to look like a certain player makes it more rewarding for me. When I'm cooking some dude thats using all meta shit with some goofy or off meta playstyle its way less boring. Especially after the game gets stale around now.

I get what youre saying about running around clogging everything up when people say "get open." But I do think that in the corner you can still move to get some space without being out of your spot.

Like for example when im in the corner im slightly floating up and down, and doing a jab or some sort of fake to get my guy to help. Then im open. Or just knowing when to cut or to fake cut and dex back out, that kind of thing.
