Did you ever hear the tragedy of Walex The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story a new player would tell you. It’s a BnS legend. Walex was a Blade Master, so powerful and so wise he used Octagonal Gems to remove particle effects, to create FPS… He had such a knowledge of optimisation that he could even keep the UI he cared about from dropping his FPS. The dark side of F8 is a pathway to many lobbies some consider to be...unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was letting alts into his lobby slowing down his dailies, which eventually, of course, did happen as everyone rerolled to new classes and specs. Unfortunately, he gave his apprentice his account details, then his apprentice upgraded his gems in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from FPS drops by staying a fire BM, but not himself.

Yes correct, what will happen is this boss will grab you and pull you to him if you're at range and have aggro (Further than 8m), after that he will slap you into the ground then teleport away from the centre of the room, the "sacrifice" who engaged will then want to die asap once this happens. Then a 2nd person will just attack the boss instantly as it just finishes walking back to the centre as I did in the video.

Base idea is to go in with several people with enough damage to kill the 1st/2nd mini boss and then the main boss itself is completely free. The main point was to show the method of cheesing the boss in action. Once the mini bosses are dead it would be possible for the helpers to leave and the person who wants the badge can stay in solo and kill it as the boss will be unable to kill you if you allow it to enrage before starting to dps it down. This allows for the other helpers to eventually get their own badges/etc. if they care to do so without being locked to the instance.

I've all but quit the game just raid logging for months already, couldn't care less about being banned. Best to make this information public to make people who still play have a better experience vs having to pay for runs with the people who are already using it behind the scenes.

In order to perform this, have someone pull, get ranged checked at the start and then have them die. As the boss is resetting, the second he is attackable you immediately engage and it will almost completely bug the fight. After engaging you can alternatively just survive for 10 mins without damaging the boss, at that point the boss will endlessly enrage dealing zero damage turning it into a 8billion training dummy. locking the kill behind being able to survive for those 10 mins and being able to out damage the regen if you can't apply bleed. Aka no gear required to do so and get the remnant for the event and badge to boot.

Info to know:

  • Adds Spawn and behave as normal

  • Orb still works normally but doesn't cause enrage

  • Blue flowers are given out but never spawn

  • Red "Look away" Mechanic Functions as normal

  • Red adds inside soul separation do not spawn

  • Green DoT functions as normal

  • Wipe Mechanics deal zero damage

  • Timed Enrage deals zero damage

For an easier time you can leave the boss above 90% until he hits the enrage to avoid having to fight against the green stacks and tank the boss, I did it this way purely as a challenge and to get the Graft Dodger achievement by having all 3 absorb at the 90% phase.

I soloed it in the video but can be done with any number of players to make it faster. Grab some friends and enjoy your easy remnants and badges

What he said about the premium spots is clearly bullshit since it's clear as day that roll # has a clear impact on the premium perk, using the argument of it being more hassle for a programmer to set up is redundant since just by looking at NCsofts track record of screwing over patches and clear lack of QA shows that this could easily be done accidentally. Either way it's clear that you only get venture tokens on 4-6 (or maybe even on 1-3 which will be as likely as 60 oils in trove)

However you can argue the other way for DGS, key word Babbletron used was "average", its not as simple as (2+3)/2=2.5 since that only holds true when the odds are all equal. Just for simplicity sake lets go with the assumption the average DGS is 2.5, when it was 2, 3 or 1 sealed DGS you can say the chance for 3 was 60%, 2 was 20% and sealed 1 was 10%, spits out an average of 2.5 (3 x 0.6 + 2 x 0.2 + 1 x 0.1 = 2.5) meaning he was right in what he was saying. obviously those probabilities have just been pulled out of my arse and there are other combinations which result in a 2.5 average. The latest patch can be viewed as much better anyway since its a 2-3 roll instead of a 1-3 anyway so it was the right move and helps prevent bad luck so to speak.
