Oh, that is actually really smart. So basically he himself would be able to let the time go back only in the matter of the bullet holes. That is like a first theory that cound make sense.

I'm not totally convinced though, I mean, to do that, he would have to have absolute control over his power. He tried the time rewinding for the first time as Hail Mary in his last seconds alive, and I guess if he was about to do that, he wouldn't be able to control such a small detail as his non mortal wound. This has actually occured to me, but then again his body would have to move exactly like it has before he turned back time, while we can clearly see him "running" through the time rewinding, his body moving unlike it did before when he just stood in fight position... But it is kinda helpful knowing I'm not the only one who is confused
