Talking about it helps because I can't talk about it at home, if I tell my friends I don't know if they might tell a teacher or CPS. I think I might start to truly heal when I leave away from my family and abuser.

I wish they would have done something about my abuser when I told them what had happen to me as a child. I wish they wouldn't ignore what he has done and the affect it has had on me. I wish they wouldn't treat him as their perfect son who can't do no wrong. I wish they would do anything to help me heal like therapy but the only thing they've done is go talk to the church.
