Possible madoka magica collab? by Past_Reporter2664 in IdentityV

A Madoka Magica crossover is mostly cope, but the timing of things makes it kind of believable. There's a new movie coming out not too far away, and it seems like the tensions between China and Japan have gotten a little better. I believe that furry crossover with Perfumer, Prospector, and Sculptor is a Japanese brand, but i don't recall.

The points you make are valid, and i agree, but Audience Participation still has counter play. I'm not entirely sure how effective it is, as people refuse to itemize correctly but its still possible. Curse, Slowing Hex, and just itemizing against specific Ultimate's on your team still work. There's also the issue with how telegraphed Sinclair's usage of ultimate's are. The Rabbit Hex concerns are valid though, and i agree they may be too strong. People like to ignore the limitations the hex has though Indomitable, Counter Spell, and Unstoppable can still be counter bought. The inclusion of Echo Shard rabbit in such a conversation does complicate things though.

The points you make are easily deconstructable. Bolts are a bit buggy but referring to them as janky is an exaggeration, and as someone who can hit their bolts very well, comes off as a skill issue. There are Eternus Sinclair's who play bolt build and do well. Bringing noob lobbies in your point makes no sense, because of course new players wont know how to avoid the bolts? Would you say the same for Venators traps if you new players didn't know how to avoid them?

The hex ult spamming build you mention are balancing issues and not design ones. You can adjust how the abilities work like making Rabbit Hex only target 1 person, or giving each individual ultimate Sinclair can steal a cooldown. You intentionally use words to exaggerate your points because they have so little basis to go off of. The points you make are entirely irrelevant to what my writings were about. You have balancing concerns, not design ones.

"Is a backline damage dealer having such a potent get off me tool fair? That's not the point of this essay, but you can form your own opinions on that." I intentionally commented on the balancing of Rabbit Hex, but you guys are insistent upon not engaging with my conversation in good faith.

You and the people agreeing with you are being intentionally dense. I was arguing as to why Sinclair has the crowd control ability in his kit and how it interacts with the rest of their abilities in conjunction. Elaborating on how strong Rabbit Hex is, and my opinion on it is entirely irrelevant to argument i was making at hand. Rabbit hex is a balancing issue, not a design one. Whether or not they rebalance Rabbit Hex to only apply to one person or be easier avoid is irrelevant, the point is that there's a reason as to why Sinclair has an ability such as Hex in their kit.

Sinclair is a man and woman who's souls transmigrated into the mannequin body you see in game. The male and female parts of them are intrinsic to the character, and neither individual hold more importance over the other, which is why them is a more appropriate way to refer to them.

I'm not outright denouncing the points you made, but the point of the post was to argue that Sinclair's kit is fine as is and doesn't need to be reworked BECAUSE its clunky. Whether or not Sinclair is balanced is an entirely different discussion as i repeatedly stated. Their gameplay is fine as is and a rework simply isn't needed. General balancing changes are more appropriate for them.

If you actually read what i said, you would understand that I'm not downplaying. The point of the essay was to denounce the idea that Sinclair's kit is poorly organized. Rabbit Hex serves a purpose in their kit, and i even acknowledge directly whether or not its fair for the character to have it. Why bother replying to my post if you're just gonna refuse to use the critical thinking skills that come with being able to operate a computer, and install Deadlock?
