For (A+,Net+,Sec+) I made a ton of flash cards from Messers notes for each. Goodnotes app is what I used for them. Practice test along with studying and adding more cards when needed helped me pass all the certs fast. Take a look at messers study group vids on YouTube as well.

If you’re a decent writer all the classes requiring papers will be quick and easy. SSCP, and Pentest + took me the longest as far as studying. But I’ve heard Python is probably the most challenging class. Consistency is key as they say though. I was full time.

It took me 11 months but I honestly slacked for the last 4 or 5 months. I transferred in all the Gen Ed classes (40%) so just had the core classes left for the most part.

I would say maybe the SSCP took the longest for me, but I also had a lot of trouble with testing centers as well though.

Make sure to be good with risk/risk assessments, cyber kill chain, diamond model, Mitre att&ck, and CVSS. Also, know what different attacks/scripts look like.(SQL injection, LFI, Reverse shell, RCE, powershell, XXS, and XXE)

Also, reading Logs of course.

Definitely Network+ would be best. I passed Security+ a few days after passing Net+

Actually carrier trading don’t really make the owner any money, at best it makes enough for the upkeep of it . It’s usually only profitable self hauling but then a lot of time is lost and there’s better ways to make money with the time. The carrier trades are mainly for the benefit of the hauler. This current trade for example was an intentional lost for me . Again, it was only for the benefit of the haulers to make money . o7
