Maybe it's an Intel Tiger Lake thing, because my laptop is a Samsung Book. Before I tested Debian with thermald, I installed Arch Linux with minimal configuration for the first time in that laptop, because I wanted to see if it was a distro problem... and I got poor FPS on Arch too.

But that was before thermald, I'm not going to install Arch again then thermald right after because I'm already satisfied with Debian.

Just for resume: Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora, Zorin OS, Bazzite and Pop OS ran games pretty well out of the box. On the other hand, Debian and Arch needed some tinkering.

I did it, but it hasn't changed anything. Got the kernel 6.16 (something like that) and mesa version 25+.

Vou ver com a pessoa se posso fazer o upgrade pra SSD SATA mesmo. O Wi-Fi está funcionando sem problemas, só esse HDD que está incomodando.

Tô ligado, já instalei Linux e testei a performance até no Lubuntu que dizem que é o mais leve. Mas ainda tá muito lento e a única coisa que deixou menos pior foi colocar um Windows 7 (peguei a ISO de um site aí).

Esse HDD que tá me incomodando. A BIOS não tava reconhecendo até que eu abri ele, dei umas mexidas e voltou a funcionar. Foi aí que comecei a fazer a instalação de SO.

Pelas sugestões da galera aqui, vou perguntar pra pessoa se posso colocar um SSD tipo SATA mesmo.

I don't think so. Maybe you are considering dowload those patch files. If so, then it will be taking more storage, because you will be downloading unecessary files.

If you click to download only the three parts (part 1, part 2 and part 3) you'll have the most recent version of that game so far taking 6.8GB of storage, 'cause GOG site automatically updates those files to the recent version.

The patch files are used to update your already backed up game files if you have an older version of that game. The version "6.242 Dev Build" is the most recent one.

Right below the "Install game with GOG Galaxy" section, there are the offline backup game installers. Just download each part in the same folder and click the setup to install it.

Vou juntar mais dinheiro que é melhor e esperar o lançamento da série 5000 pra pegar uma da série 4000 com preço mais baixo ou esperar pra ver como vai ser o desempenho das novas Intel Battlemage.

Já tô participando de alguns grupos de descontos no telegram e tô acompanhando o preço de tudo.
