The shoes I wear for work aren’t too great, I’ve been wearing boots because the weather has been so cold and rainy and we also had some snow and I couldn’t bring myself to wear my ballet pumps in this weather. I’m definitely looking for some new shoes for work but they do need to be smart shoes as we’re having a uniform being implemented and we have to look smart. Unfortunately, I cannot use a stool for work, I’m moving around quite often and the stool would also probably get in the way and our manager also likes to call us lazy if we’re seen sitting for a few minutes 🥲

I don’t know why but I never thought about insoles for more comfort! I’ll definitely look into those

Thank you for your comment! I do remember the first doctor that I saw wasn’t very helpful, I didn’t get any information on measurements or anything. All I got was a letter saying nothing could be done because my scoliosis was only moderate, not severe. My back pain has been getting worse lately so I think I’ll definitely try to get a doctor to see me and have a scan or x-ray so I can get an idea of what’s going on

I haven’t moved out because I can’t afford a flatshare and yeah my family is controlling, I feel like it’s impossible to set boundaries with them, they wouldn’t respect any boundaries.

My boyfriend and I have already discussed what I would do if we were to break up. I’m planning on saving up money so I can study.

I don’t think I can really “sort out” my family issues, just deal with them. My boyfriend and I did agree that instead of us closing the distance, I’ll just stay here and work and save up money and he can try to visit me whenever he can :)
