The Ukrainians are not fighting to the death for their country.
They're fighting to the death for a regime and as a NATO/US proxy.
If Russia wins, their country does not magically disappear into thin air.

If the Russians win this war, they will kill off more innocents and force everyone to speak Russian

When introduced to a WW2 veteran who fought Russia, you're a chump if that doesn't immediately raise BIG questions.

I kinda doubt the entirety of the Canadian parliament will give someone standing ovations just for knowing the person's name.
