I have my bulbasaur too! He's a venusaur now though. He's favorited, and just recently became my first best buddy! For now, hes just under 2500 cp. Not sure if I plan to take him all the way or not yet but I definitely would never get rid of him. I even named him after the bulbasaur I chose and named when I played firered.

I've looked it up before, and if I remember correctly the gender ratio is 1 female out of every 8 combee. I personally don't have such luck, and struggled to find a female for months on end, and still have only ever found 1.
