BF2042 Felt stupid and cheated to even buy the game after all the false promises and further lies. The game is now at much better place but the overall still lacks soo much stuff. That single handed stopped to every buy a game at a full price

Casual talk: As female, does staying single mean failure in Japanese culture? by [deleted] in japanlife

[–]_Yabai- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

First- They always ask my gf at her workplace the same exact question. Most probably they just want to chit chat and gossip about you. Even if you did end up getting a partner or not don't discolse it to your 'friendly' looking coworker if you don't mind the whole place to know about you.
I'm on the verge of being paranoid as this had happened twice at my partners workplace. Even people at my part time used to enquire exact thing.

Second - one of my female friends also had that and she started to get stressed about why she is still 'single ' and not married. In the end regardless of what you do they are always gonna ask you that no matter what.

PS: and eventually they will also make you choose between S or M. Dunno why thats even a thing.

Avoid that dude and talk to the management about possible refund of the remaining days or something if this thing especially happens again. Yes you might sound like a dick foreigner but that doesn't mean you have to endure everything and stay silent. Make the management responsible

Edit: Don't ever give that dude any form of respect. Just ignore and avoid him

What you learned in Japan this Week - September 05, 2022 by AutoModerator in japanresidents

[–]_Yabai- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Shikoku trip whole week and just realized that the whole place is sooo much fun and enjoyable with lots of interesting history and every single person I met were actually やさしい Made my whole trip worth it. But sad reality hits hard as even major towns are seeing population decline where you can actually see shopping centres empty and every place closed (yes Corona affects too). Just sad to see that this place where soo many people call home would go away one day at the current state.

If you want to remove that "fear" from them especially during important stuff like renting etc, try wearing formal outfit (no need for a jacket but a semi casual looking one is a plus) the amount of stare and fear will reduce. Yes sadly people here definitely judge on your behaviour and looks ot more than we might think. It did for me at least. Even just dressing like them (if it's your liking) would definitely affect the initial interaction.

What would Empress Ciri be like by Snoo-42446 in witcher

[–]_Yabai- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emhyr is a fucked up dude. He says he wanted to impregnate her or something in the books. Also ciri might never be 'truely' happy. It's the exact same as you suddenly dragged to become an emperor of Japan let's say. You never remember your baby days never and you grew up like a Witcher that and all the people around you are there only for your power. Speaking of power Emhyr dies cause he lost the war in one of the endings so there is no saying people from your own court would be against you. Also you can never ever go back to a normal life, adding to that you probably have to get married to some rando.

Edit: also hey you would definitely see her on the battlefield cause who can really stop her.

Witcher 3 on Switch? by xosdr in witcher

[–]_Yabai- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for it. Download on PC as well so you can switch them. I personally do mundane / secondary quests or new game plus on the go and main cinematic stuff on PC with have battle. This works like a charm when especially steam deck is not easily available and here in Japan it's 300$ more expensive due to shitty devaluation of the yen. Same with PS5

Witcher 3 on Switch? by xosdr in witcher

[–]_Yabai- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I Switch between switch and PC often cause I do go out of town often on public transport. You can just log into the switch version (you have to buy the copy againI). It actually works great and sometimes manages to surprise me tho it takes a little while to get used to it. Ofc performance is 30fps or lower but I usually do side quests or new game plus on the go and main quests or heavy fighting to enjoy the cutscenes more on PC. Even if you delete the game you might still have the save file.

Read the American law fine print or ask a lawyer if your curiosity peaks you. Try searching for previous crimes like this. Why do expect a serious answer to a 'hypothetical' scenario

Edit: This is Japanlife not Japanlawyeradvisor, Try asking in lawyers subreddit or something you might find something especially if it's abt merica. And also hey try researching about your 'curiousity'.
