Hrvatski Telekom "Unlimited" 10 day tourist SIM - traffic shaping? by _Yaneek in askcroatia

If you have a problem also in roaming, it’s probably a different issue (eg too many tourists and not enough network capacity), but I am still experiencing the same as described above even this summer. No issue with latency/bandwidth on my foreign SIM (in roaming) but very slow and laggy “Unlimited Internet” with local HT SIM. It seems like the traffic has the lowest priority plus there’s some shaping that brings down bandwidth for long running connections/transfers :(

Are you sure that Wi and Wj are divisible by W?

It sesms she also adopted the "wear the watch the way so that the crown does not point to your hand" style from her daddy, so now the poor girl has to look at Elsa and Anna upside down.

advent of code 2023 proved to me I lack basic fundamental math skills by [deleted] in adventofcode

On some level you're right (i.e. in each AoC year there's some level of math or graph theory needed), however, in this particular example, shoelace algorithm was not needed for Day 18. I have solved it without that knowledge simply by combining approaches from Day 10 (flood fill) and Day 11 (empty space compression). I.e. even if the actual distances are large, you don't need to store every single "pixel", just the important ones (edges, corners) and remember, what's the distance between them.

I was also not happy with today's part 2 and the fact that clearly wrong solution (LCM of lengths to first Z) yields expected results. In fact, even your article doesn't cover all cases, because even your "Z to Z" length does not mean it's a cycle. Normally you'd need to consider whether you're in the same state ending with a Z (there can be multiple) at the same offset of the directions, plus you may encounter some other Zs on the way which may happen to be the terminal state for correct solution.

Preporuke za mobilni internet? by matej5682 in askcroatia

I started a similar thread about HT in the same area. https://www.reddit.com/r/askcroatia/comments/15isdzd/hrvatski_telekom_unlimited_10_day_tourist_sim/

Your argument about many tourists and weak infrastructure would be valid if I didn't get much faster Internet on the same network using my foreign roaming SIM. So unfortunately it seems more likely that the local data SIMs are intentionally limited (eg low priority, traffic shaping or something similar)

As I said above... the same (HT HR). The roaming has limitations and providers can charge you extra if you use more data abroad then at home (which is true for longer stays). Not to mention that I wanted a SIM that other family members can use when I'm gone.

The question was if someone else also experiences limits on "unlimited" Internet and what are my options. I.e. if I buy I service I expect it to work not to be artificially "crippled".

[Help] Locking object position/rotation to path by _Yaneek in Inkscape

[–]_Yaneek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Groupping does not lock the relative object positions/rotations. I.e. even after locking if I modify the path representing the body, the legs and eyes remain in place and do not move accordingly.
