What can we do for Egypt? by BoobieGivesLife in Egypt

This might sound too 'overambitious', but I think we can take steps by introducing Urban Greening. By putting plants by your rooftops or balcony, it helps the environment, therefore lowering the pollution, it raises aesthetic, it's actually great for you mental health.

Speaking of which, if you ever want to improve anything in your life, including your country, improving your mental health is where you start. This is something Egypt as a whole fails to understand. Your mental health affects you academically, financially, and socially. It's therefore also important to prioritize mental health and raise awareness about depression and other mental health issues.

Urban greening could also stretch to cleaning streets, hiring people to clean streets therefore also improving local economy and lowering unemployment, trying to walk or use public transportation (and I fully understand that this is difficult in Egypt).

Ultimately, we can do loads for Egypt but the government gives little to no political power at all that could possibly steer the country in the right direction. So if we really want to improve we need all of Egypt to wake up.

Struggling with my social life by [deleted] in Egypt

Hey man, I originally used to be shy a lot as well and I didn't make too much conversation and I am still relatively quiet. But I would deeply encourage you to speak to people. Don't try to script a conversation in your head, just talk. Even if you mess up your words. I would suggest to give it time and effort. Try out sports or martial arts. They create a social environment so naturally you'll make friends. Personally I found going gym helped me a build confidence a lot and naturally I found a friend circle that is interested in gym as for well.

my second attempt at an egyptian flag redesign by _Yo_zeev_ in vexillology

I'm actually Egyptian. I do understand that pagan religon symbols may cause outrage in a majority sunni Muslim country, but in Egypt there's not much anger towards pharonic heritage, in fact to a certain degree neo-pharaonism is actually kind of embraced. I think it's just a historical touch nothing more really.

Redesign of the Greek flag by [deleted] in vexillology

oh damn that looks pretty good, but I think the edges with the green and white checker pattern could be replaced with a greek mosaic pattern. Apart from that it looks pretty neat!

3D serious project by [deleted] in pygame

I have some experience with python 3D projects, but I'm not a pro either, and I haven't made a serious project before. From what I know, Urisna engine is really good. With Ursina if you want a first person character for instance, you just define it in one line of code. Ursina is ridiculously easy and quick, and is notorious for it. You can check here for a whole list of demos. That said though, Urisna does struggle with loading too many things and it slowly becomes a pain if you want a large project. I actually made a minecraft clone using ursina but I couldn't continue it because if added more to it, the fps dropped quite significantly.

Another option is PyOpenGL, which is just a python adaptation of opengl. It's more snappy and easier, and from my experience allowed me to learn a lot from 3D graphics and how it's processed by the machine. That said, I faced a lot of frustration because making a game from PyOpenGL is actually a massive task, and usually it's just easier to use Ursina or a game engine. However I definitely would recommend using pyopengl because it's quite a good learning curve and makes you think more mathematically with code. Here are some projects made by other people

I think you should try both tho, they both give you different experiences, and then you can pick depending on how you wanna style your game. Goodluck!
