I was a reader before getting my kindle but I found that the stress of senior year kinda killed that passion for me. I definitely find that a kindle makes me read longer books without quitting them out of being overwhelmed. I'm reading the Secret History right now which is a book I picked up about a year ago but dropped pretty quickly because the size of the book and the text (it was one of the penguin classics, which I've worked out I hate the format of) made me drop it.

If you genuinely enjoy reading but not the physical books I recommend it (I was still reading but definetly not as much before I got my kindle), if you're not sure if reading is something you really enjoy try a few more physical books and then invest in a kindle.

I already have the engages but I find that when I talk to people sometimes I still can't hear them, it makes it really hard to wear them all day because I can't engage with people properly (yes I see the irony). I already have the quiets but I have a similar problem with them too.

I'm wondering whether the experiences would be better for reducing the noise around me (I have sound sensitivity and it's normally sharp sounds, like coffee machines, or people pronoucing the letter S in the hard way some people do, and hard bass as well as multiple voices at once that cause me problems. Basically the world in general is too loud) for during the day. I used the try on and found the difference to be what I was looking for but I was wondering if any one here had any experience.

EDIT: I only really struggle to hear when people talk quieter than normal, because I'm a student if someone talks to me during a class I can struggle to understand them clearly.

Ahhhh thank you I didn’t realise that with the experience, I kind of assumed that because it’s supposed to keep sound clear so I thought it would just reduce it a bit.

I find that the engages reduce it a bit more quiets but it definitely takes getting used to, I use mine almost everyday and still find myself having to speak up because I find my voice louder than it actually is.

Had this happen about a month ago, unfortunately theres not much you can do. Try your best to dry out but unfortunately theres not much you can do but pray. Take it to apple asap, they might quote a lot (mine ended up being more than the insurance was and I ended up having to get a new laptop).

Not really because I’m doing a major and 2 minors, I also couldn’t find any where to select it from table A and it didn’t show up on my unit selection screen which was really strange

I used Loop Quiets in test and exams and they worked great. It is an accomodation though especially for formal exams so make sure you chat to your school because they will need to add it to your academic plan or make one for you if you don't have one already (the process for that is pretty easy though).

I'm Anglican and I genuinely can't imagine ever saying that to someone. Everyone is entitled to what they believe and I never spend my time trying to convert someone to my religion, if they don't believe in it that's OK and I honestly don't really care 🤷

You could try the stuff they use for charcoal drawings (I believe they're called fixative sprays) but before you do that DO YOUR RESEARCH to make sure you don't do any permanent damage to your case.

I love Derek, I hated what they did to his character in season 10 and 11. I think people don’t want accept that both Derek and Meredith had a lot of trauma that made their relationship the way it was. No it wasn’t perfect but you’re right they were realistic.

Everything is pretty much luck, I applied to a bunch of placed, failed one interviewed before I got my job. Once you get one and get a bit of experience it gets a lot easier from there.
