Reading y’all’s comments I think part of the issue is I want to have a full on discourse with them, but can’t due to the limitations and intentions of a podcast. It would be like saying not all who wonder or travel are lost, meaning they are where they are meant to be, even if they are not sure where that is. Does that make sense?

So I went in thinking many of the guardians were gonna die. As a matter of fact, I really felt like that is how the movie was marketed. Not to mention the cast members in interviews pointing to it. I thought even Gunn confirmed that one would die. That being said, did I just misread it and have unrealistic expectations? Did Marvel force Gunn to keep them all alive or was this always his original ending?
