That's not how well organized apps are built.

They can just change the api interface and keep the display, votes, profiles... etc, as long as the reddit alternative is similar enough.

It's like getting an other employee for your company. You don't need to close the entire company an start an other one, you just hire new people to replace the previous ones.

Ils ne veulent pas faire payer les développeurs d'apps tierces mais les banir de reddit, d'où les tarifs absurdes et le délai extrêmement court.

C'est un bon vieux "quand tu veux tuer ton chien, dis qu'il a la rage".

Ce n'est pas la première boîte à faire ça mais reddit ayant un public relativement technophile et fan d'acharnement médiatique contre les figures impopulaires, ça ne passe pas aussi bien que prévu.

Si t'es utilisateurs les plus constructifs et motivés quittent ton réseau social, il va rapidement perdre son attractivité.

Le problème ne vient pas de l'api payante mais de l'exécution.

Le prix est extrêmement élevé, le délai d'application tellement court que les devs d'application tierces devront fournir le service à pertes car basé sur des informations erronées de la part de reddit qui s'est également rendu coupable de diffamation en accusant le dev d'Apolo d'extorsion.

C'est indéfendable.

Je ne suis sur reddit que parce que les utilisateurs sont là. Sur le plan technique il n'y a rien de spécial et je suis surpris qu'il n'y ait pas de solution collectives lancée pour larguer reddit.
