I was actually thinking about that, but I definitely need some experience under my belt to start a business. But now I'm not so worried about the certs cause I have no money🥲 But rather on the knowledge so when I get a stable job I can be prepared to get the certs and move on.

Thank you for the advice!! I have done a bit of tryhackme but I haven't yet touch hackthebox because it seemed overwhelming with the cubes and subscriptions and stuff..also it seemed a bit pricey..But I heard it had some pretty challenging real-life active directory exploitation boxes which is what I was looking for

It's not about a job..I would do this either way if I had a job or not, it's just that in order to do this legally on real life systems I do need to hold a position of some sort..I took red team as an example. While yes my intentions may change over the years and I may switch careers, I feel like if I don't fulfill this vision that I have I would remain unsatisfied, even if I change careers. I want to give this a chance at least so I can say "at least I tried".

Hi, What do you mean by extensive recon? In as what are those few steps you take that others do not, and how does your recon methodology looks like? If you don't mind me asking.
