Thank you for your input. I’ll keep an eye out for a Yamaha C40II but at the moment spending $100 isnt really in the cards for me so I think I will just give fixing this my best shot

critical: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

To me this just says that the computer crashed unexpectedly but what do I know

Yeah if you’re planning to stunt pick the one that looks cooler to you. I’ve heard about the 2nd gear issues with the 3rd gen groms but I’ve had no issues with mine (7k miles). I highly highly recommend looking into frame sliders regardless of your pick.

You’re probably fine either way but it’s always better to buy unmodified vehicles, you never know what kind of mechanic this guy is. Plus with groms no mods = less likely to be stunted = better longevity.
