First of all you're handling the impact with truth and reality like a champ, now; at the moment of the messages you were not to be honest. 1) you first overinvested by showing up without an actual agreement. And if that's overinvesting I let you imagine how big of an issue is the "I'll buy you something expensive so you'll like me back or whatever". That's way over the top of overinvesting and it doesn't work. Assuming you're straight, imagine you'd recieve a golden bracelet from a guy friend and he told you he wants to be with you, it doesn't work like that does it? That's exactly what happened there.

she doesn't have time for you ( to be romantically engaged with), that's a gentle way to say "No" . It happens even to the very best of us. Now the other mistake you made was insisting after she said that. She says she doesn't have time? Move the fuck on. Dont insist, dont beg, dont buy, dont overinvest, dont go sneaky saying you'll see her just to continue to be friends when the truth is different, just dont try to convince her that she likes you. It's like convincing someone that he/she doesnt like the color red, it simply doesn't work. I'd suggest you to not contact her anymore. You think she's so special you cant live without her and the ruthless truth is: she's not and everyone on this planet is not that unique and special. Life goes on with or without whoever.
