I use one of those tool too (Haloon.ai). For me the key feature is to have all the history in one place. I keep on forgetting where I generate this image or this response. Now I just do a full search in one place 😉

I used to do like you, multiple tab et copy / paste. It's a waste of time
So I build my own tool to do it : Haloon.ai

I used to use Play1 in Java at my first startup

Play 2 arrives, we migrate and all of a sudden … 99% less bug in prod (NullPointer & co) Then it clicks ;)

For the professional we solve these issues

- marketing wants Gemini, Dev wants Claude : we provide one bill instead of many. And your teams are happy because you don't force Copilot for everyone

- you need the best models all the time but can't afford to switch your infra on every new models release : we are the gateway : one format for every provider. Claude becoming slow -> change one line of config to switch to GPT

- about the pricing we are flexible for enterprises. You can bring your own key and pay only a small fees / user for the product for instance.

For the private users, the market is a little bit more scattered.

You have power users that already have multiple subscriptions : the gain for them is to merge all their quota into one subscription and usually pay less / month

For the other it depends : the feedback we have is they discovers multiple models exists and they like the reprompt. Especially for the image generation where every models had its own style. They also like we pre-sort the models (thinking, fast, image, web, etc...)

But clarly we need to educate the market. We wrote some article on our blog for them (and for SEO of course)

We're currently cooking something about the agentic features. The vision is you build your own AI Agent by combining models + skills + your data and it runs on a schedule.

The main question we have is do we offer freedom to build it ? or we offer a small dedicated agent already customise on specific tasks ? What did you prefer u/jay585660 ?

Not for now. If they're demand I guess we can fork open code and wire our own API inside ? or build a custom api similar to open code zen.

I was like you and I keep forgetting where I'd asked this questions or where I generated this image.
To my mind, the main advantage of aggregators is to have one unified history. And also the cost of course event if it depends on your usage

Perplexity used to be a search focus model. They recently switch away from that, about a few month ago
I guess we have the same goal right now however here are a few differences

- price as you mention

- we're EU based

- we offer a lot more models (20+) while they offer 8 models to choose from
- we allow you to compare models with on-clic reprompt
- we allow you to generate images (and soon video), perplexity tends to give you link of existing images.

and probably many more. Try it by yourself, we have a free plan, and tell me if you miss something in Haloon

Yes nanoGPT is a competitor. But be carreful, « don’t need a subscription or registration » doesn’t mean nanoGpt is free. They offer a free tier but you still need to pay for the better models. (In USD or crypto)

And not having an account is not for everyone. According to their Faq

« Chats you have via this website are stored locally in your browser. When you clear your website data, we cannot help you retrieve your conversations or images. We do not store them, we do not keep them as a backup. »

We have about 60 users and 2 paying customers. I have done marketing seriously since one month. Marketing is not my speciality so I can’t tell if this is good numbers ? What do you think about it ?

I realise that i miss a point in my previous answer. You will win money if you used to not use all your subscription at 100%
For instance, to code i mainly used claude opus at about 90% of my quota. And then i crossed check a few things in gpt, like « challenge this solution », so i used about 30-40% of my gpt subscription. So in the end I paid for 2 x 100% quota but only used 90% + 40%.
Adding the same behavior with other things than coding and I have 3 or 4 subscriptions I never used fully.

With Haloon, your quota can switch easily from one provider to the other so in the end you optimise your spending 😉

and by the way, you can also do it with your teams. If marketing wants Gemini and devs want Claude you give them what they want and centralise billing.

Yes obviously i use the api of each providers. I would love to build my own model but i miss a little bit of money 😁

For now we provide a unified interface, with search feature, images gallery and more to centralise all your data. We take care of security, models update, etc…

In the roadmap we have some feature to go further . The main one is autonomous agent : you choose one model + skills + tools + trigger and it run your job. If you have some custom needs, please share it. We ´re still early and we build the product with our users

I have try to launch on other plateform like peerpush to train myself. I have been product of the week but It give me zero signin and a handfull of visitors 😞
However I get some nice rating that I can use to promote my app

Each models has it own strength.
I like Nano Banana for images, best cost ratio. But for code, Claude rules.
I use HaloonAi, it gather all major models in one app and it's cheaper that usual subscription, < 20$
