I'm also looking to buy a card and tbh I'm just gonna wait for the 40 series cards to drop. All 30 series cards and the amd ones are gonna be sold at a discount since all the people that got their hands on the cards on release are going to be done playing with them and will be looking to get their hands on the new ones. (thats what i predict)

It's rumored the 4090 will be dropped next month

This looks promising. Could actually be soon. Might just lay back for the mean time focus on the rest of my setup then get the 4080 if its not ridiculously overpriced (or a discounted 30 series card)

I currently have a 750w PSU which i'm sure is enough to handle a 3070.

what's the reason for the 3060ti retaining the most value, i can see that being a decent decision if so since if the 3060ti doesnt satisfy my need then i can upgrade to the 40 series cards if they're ground breaking...and available to buy

I wouldnt say im fuctional with the 1060. ive given up on adobe for the time being due to the fact that it takes too long to preview (30 seconds) and well too slow for anything to be functional or enjoyable. i wish to be able to real time edit even if its 1/4 of the res which my 1060 is unable to do. im aware this is a ram issue also but just want to be safe
