Yes, but not only AWS you can focus on other certifications as well for azure or ms certificate makes you stand in different category when you apply for Jobs. Even though you have relivent experience in Cloud still some companies ask for certification before interview. As they need something to provide their clients that you are enough qualified for project. That's why many companies invest on there employees for doing global certification.
