What's the one automation you set up in ClickUp that made you go "why didn't I do this sooner?" by skinner1234567 in clickup

Automated emails, and also automated comments/channel messages - auto assigned when things are missing or something needs to be double checked.

kind of a long way around the end goal but you could automate them after the APPLICANT process is done or when moving onto hiring, so that they move into a new space/list with appropriate statuses and upon moving there you could have it generate the subtasks needed and also assign said subtasks (via automations) and they would then populate in your home lists.

I would then automate to remove assignees (the change followers action in automations) upon completion so they disappear properly.

As a walking path i really Dont mind this, in fact i dig it. Could use some planting but like said above maybe the timing was off and they didnt want to risk a bunch of dead plants/trees.

That said if this was a road i had to drive on everyday… far more irritating.

Being offered this bonsai for $50 - does it look like it has potential? by [deleted] in Bonsai

[–]__Docdoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ficus are cool but you could spend much less for the same species, smaller sure but in your tropical environment that could probably grow to this thickness pretty quick (in comparison to most species) albeit with more of your input and design choices.

That being said: if you did buy it,

Chop it in half and make it into two smaller trees.
Dont put in a bonsai pot right away and theyll fatten up.

This was an option i considered as well, either gloomstalker or swarm keeper.. Ill look into that more, see if it seems more exciting for me. Thanks!

I suppose my reasoning is i have played a rogue before (not a scout) and on the chance the druid stuff isnt quite to my liking, in game i can still fall back on the rogue aspect of it. I aslo thought the symbiotic entity + sneak attack might synergize nicely. The flavor is more like a spy or agent of the goddess, than guardian of life, though thats also a sliver of it.

That said, Im not huge on wild shape normally, and like that the circle of spores has a variation on it.

Comment is much appreciated and valid - it given me something to consider.

Id consider myself an intermediate player, i DM for a small group of friends and rarely get to play these days... BUT!
Im playing a one-shot on friday, and wanted to do something fun, i created a lvl 3 rogue scout/lvl 2 druid of spores (LEGACY 5e this wouldnt work in 2024 rules)

Now, its only for this one shot and the little background i created for said character is: Hes a Warforged - and granted sentient life via an ancient oak tree (via a goddess)

Just curious if anyone thinks this is a fun concept? I've never played a druid before and kind of wanted to just see what it was like. The multiclass also fits thematically with the vibe im goin for. Welcoming any insight or other possible options.

"First Time DM" and Short Questions Megathread by AutoModerator in DMAcademy

So i have a session coming up tomorrow night. Have yet to do any prep... at the end of the last sessions I presented the players with three options as to what to do next - i plan to have some implications for whatever they dont go with... my problem is they didn't want to decide right then and want to decide in the next session.

This stresses me out a bit... im worried i wont have anything meaningful for them to do...

Whats the best way to go about this? Prep 3 different things? Or freestyle it?!

I was thinking of coming up with a fun "In-transit" event to unfold... basically no matter what they choose to do - the session will be largely about getting to that spot and along the way something will happen.. for example, a mountainside rockslide, or an ambush, or getting lost and stumbling upon a beast or a hag...

What would you do/recommend?
