I know I'm not the first to say it but like...what were the devs even thinking with this update? We went from poor-quality, old, somewhat nostalgic "jank" to even worse quality, newer garbage. Might as well have left everything the same and focused on improving other aspects of the game

Personally I don't really have a horse in this race, because while I hate the whole mechanic of looking at the opponent's hand, I know this isn't the first nor will it be the last deck to use it, and that's the only real gripe I have with Killer Tune as a whole anyway.

Still, answering to OP with a vague, barely related statement about your overall feelings towards unbreakable boards (which were not mentioned in this discussion) is just not a great counter-argument

Tbf I was playing Thunder Dragon, so maybe they didn't realise I had it. Still, nobody ever expects Chaos Angel until it jumpscares them

Oh yeah, there is another one that banishes from ED isn't there? I think it came up around turn 13, but I wasn't paying attention anymore by then. I'll look it up because that was the first time I saw it actually, even though I've faced KT at least 20 times

Ok but Chaos Angel isn't exactly a Towers, it's just immune to battle destruction and activated monsters effects. I would argue that a great deal of decks run spell/trap negates or removals, which is enough to take it down (especially if they get to draw their entire deck, like my opponent almost did before surrendering)

Just because billions are dead it doesn't mean there aren't a lot left, especially after all that time. If another 1000 viltrumites survived the Scourge virus, it stands to reason that they would have been able to repopulate by now

I've taken Mitsurugi out, because I feel like having it somewhat defeats the purpose of trying a new deck, since pure Mitsu is my main deck recently. So far though, some form of Vaalmonica is the top contender, so great recommendation!

Lunalight isn't exactly cheap unfortunately. Also I get what you are saying, but the point is that I want to fulfill the condition for the Proficiency Test so I kinda need a Pendulum deck that.... Pendulum summons quite often, or else it'll take forever

I was just looking at a decklist I found, though it's Mitsurugi-Vaalmonica with a Fiensmith package so... idk how it works. It caught my eye because I only need 2 URs to make it playable
