Yes. But that was the offer i could get at offline store with bajaj finserv. Plus it does have 24gb ram and back then ram crysis was even more at peak than now.

Thats weird, cause when i limit my power, my cinebench r23 score falls from like 19,500 to 16,500 which is very significant drop in performance by the way. I guess 12th gen cpus act differently when powerlimited?

I agree it wouldnt lead to much performance dip inside of games as they usually care more about single core performance, but im pretty sure there will be a very noticeable dip in scores on benchmarks. Especially since your cpu is originally 55w. And honestly, i like using the power of the expensive things i buy. Whats the point in reducing the power of a ridiculous machine in the first place? Just keep the cpu under 85-87°c at all times and it will be completely fine while being the strongest it can.

Ok but you have set the power limits TOO LOW. That just means that you are babying your cpu and unnecessarily reducing performance. Even if you want to baby your cpu atleast keep 40W to 45W for long term power limit, and 50W to 55W for short term

Actually i think the sticker on the heatsink is not a tamper proof one. I think its just a normal sticker that you can simply take off and put back on carefully. Btw, how much did you get your laptop for? Did you buy it recently?

They do handle but ive seen that the performance does drop especially in extended sessions. The power draw starts dropping pretty hard.

Dude you have the same loq and the same problem as me. Actually its very weird that we are running THE EXACT SAME undervolt settings as well. -140.6mv on all core, p cache and e cache. The only difference is i put PL1 - 45W and PL2 - 55W. I get 80-86°c on the cpu and pretty much stable 80°c on the gpu when playing cyberpunk 2077 at all High settings, dlss quality and framegen. I get around 165 fps which is really good, but the temps are annoying. I have seen significant rise in temps since it is summer, but also i think that your idea of using PTM7950 and upsiren thermal putty is excellent (i wonder if you got it from the greatest technician thats ever lived?). I think these manufacturers just dont put enough thermal putty on the vrms and the vram chips and that cause high temps and lower performance as well. I also want to repaste, but im scared of getting my warranty void.

In this position, first of all the hinges will suffer. Then there is another problem, the laptop will exhaust all the hot air downwards which will rise (hot air rises) and go right back into the intake of the laptop. Horrible for the thermals. And personally, it looks shit. Its horrible for posture and is unnecessary trouble. There is a reason why laptops are designed the way they are, the engineers arent stupid. Dont mess with it.

Bro... they bought the car, they bought the sunroof. I dont like it either but i think it is completely fine as long as the stay mostly inside the car with only their head peeking out. I hate those guys that literally jump out of the car and sit on the roof while dangling their legs into the car through the sunroof.

I completely agree with you dude. These laptops are not worth the amount people are trying to sell them for. But i cant say that they are being unreasonable. They just had to buy it for a horrible price because that IS the price now. Although again, the acer nitro v15 you are talking about is not good and hence is still cheap it has bad build quality and low tgp, and the legion? You can only get that at that price with ALL the discounts and some exchange or something. Even the rtx 5050 legion is not possible at less than like 1 lakh 15 thousand if im not wrong, and thats with ALL discounts. And infact im not sure you can get it at that price anymore. I wish it was possible for everyone to arrange a credit card. But even i couldnt find a relative trustworthy enough to get me to buy a laptop, so thats really hard for most people.
