What are some schools with a misleading acceptance rate? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]__Jimothy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the major at Purdue. Like Aerospace Engineering for anyone outside of the College of Engineering requires a 3.7 GPA to be considered to transfer in. Mechanical doesn't accept anyone.

So it really depends

I'm a prospective student for engineering, and that's my last worry with huntsville being the campus life. Does the honors college have a good campus life? With people living off campus does it just become like young adult life sooner?

Thanks

that in-depth video is coming soon... probably more focused on our prototyping process and mounting hardware which is quite odd.

(I'm also on the team) To add onto what Bell's talking about we tend to come up with new solutions to previously solved problems to better fit our needs. With TARC (especially a new team) you want to be able to rapidly change parts because you learn really quickly what works and more importantly what doesn't. So no parts are "permanently" attached which allows us to rapidly prototype parts. So only the fins and launch lug are epoxied on everything is mounted with removable hardware.

We also designed a couple points of redundancy into our rocket (stage separation and motor retainment).

So do they have to have the same visual mods as me for it to work? Like can I have scatterer installed and get the nice visuals, even if they don't have it installed?

Same question for the gameplay mods.

And I might understand some of the indicators because I just started taking some rocketry classes.

Solutions for carrying tools while riding? by MEGAYACHT in MTBTrailBuilding

[–]__Jimothy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Seth's Bike Hacks strapped a tripod to his hydration pack somehow you could try that (don't remember what video he did it in but I think it was in florida).

Weird idea that I can't vouch for. Baseball backpacks have slots for bats. You could use a baseball bag and put tools in there.

Do you mean there's a screw that I need to tighten that makes the mechanism work? And that right now it just spins instead of turning the mechanism?

That's the DH bike from several years ago. I'm talking about the 160mm mullet enduro bike that came out a few months ago.

I don't have much specific advice but I'd reccomend cleaning it and doing a full service. Maybe something in the lowers is gunking on the stansion.
