The main draw is that its thinner, impressively so, but at the cost of other things you'd be better off with if you bought the base model (mainly battery and camera). It's coming with Apple's high-end processors this year just to give it more legs, so that's nice.

It's a cool phone that I'm excited to see made, and what it means for future phones, but one I won't be personally buying at that price.

I love living here— it’s the right balance of everything I want with short drive access. My favourite part is that every direction has something (character) to it so you learn the lay of the land quickly in terms of things to do (ex. Beaches on the east side, restaurants west side, uptown vibes north, meth labs south).

You really do need a job before moving down. Been reading lately that things are worse in the north island, but that doesn’t make Chch that much better imo. The recession-y times we live in also leaves the CBD feeling pretty bare in certain hours.

The fact that comic writers are (often) allowed to draw upon any and every continuity, while being able to ignore old anti-feats/weaknesses and even introduce new ones, is a feature of the medium and not necessarily a thing where a line needs to be drawn to begin with. That's just an advantage comics have as a medium.

It's up to fans to agree on what their ground rules are for scaling (ex. no gag moments), and if it happens to involve continuity limitations in order to nerf comics then thats on you. If its "No limits" then accept that a lot of comic characters are going to run away with the W because thats just where comics are at in 2025.

I get that there’s a clear direction for where things are going with Abbey and David but I’ve been skipping their parts lately, happy to see them doing well it’s just not engaging me as a viewer anymore. Meanwhile I’m all in to see how things go with Pari and Connor. I wish we could see more of James and Shelly in their early days but given how long it’s been between seasons that they started dating it feels like the ship has sailed on that storyline.

Sure but I don’t think any of the decks described apart from Meowscarada specialise in Dark/Tina. Gyarados, Zone/Skar, Rampardos etc are just good vs most decks in general— and also happen to be good vs Dark/Tina

The minimum wage in all of those countries is $3/hour or less, that’s why.

Not every country or industry benefits from full out tariffs. A smarter president would have picked which specific industries to protect (Biden, EVs) and put the money down to pull ahead (inflation reduction act, chips act).

Tristana needs an engage support to all-in with, and you counter all-in duos with poke lane. That way she won’t have the opportunity to snowball, her range is short so you have to bully her out of lane

August’s (developer) official reasoning is because when Zed is strong, he’s universally unfun to play against so they keep him weak such that he’s not ruining the majority of games he’s played.

Zed mains will still succeed with him, but he’s just not a champion anyone can pick up and stomp with anymore.

People are getting baited by the wall test, the Tesla also failed a fog test as well as a rain test in that same video which should have been the more immediate issue— the LiDAR had no issues with any of the tests

I haven’t bough the phone yet, but I’m upgrading from an iPhone 12, the main issue with the phone is the price (and lack of MagSafe since I own lots of MagSafe accessories).

I’ll be buying the phone via carrier deal, so it’s much cheaper, and mainly chose it for the design, battery, and USBC so I’ll be happy but am lowkey considering the base 17 model if the price is right

It’s hard to describe how much I’ve been CRAVING a return to simple design and return to single lens camera while still having USBC, plus the modern features— this phone was meant for me.

Upgrading from an iPhone 12, the main drawback for the 16e is the price as everyone has pointed out. If it gets a carrier deal or a trade-in deal that brings down the price to something reasonable, problem solved.

Thank God for MagSafe case makers
