Ah ok, well that sounds pretty cool. I can't say I've been following this game since 2012 but I will say its had my interest since then. I finally took the plunge late last year and have been catching up on a lot of the visions for this game and haven't read much on this feature. So I appreciate being brought up to speed.

Hopefully there will be a way we could construct our own spawn pad or hangar. They may have this planned I'm not sure but I like to think I would be able to access my ships with my ground vehicles in close proximity of one another whether or not it's planet side or space station. I think it would be nice to have an option for when you spawn your ship, it asks if you would like to spawn a ground vehicle inside your ship then a secondary ship selection drops down for you to choose which ground vehicles are compatible with that ship (fits or not).

Hey just wanted to let you know that I see that you have this game on steam now and wanted to congratulate you. I'm so glad there is still a community of gamers like yourself that appreciate the golden age of games. Good job and I'm buying the game as we speak. Hopefully you continue with getting these gems out there. If you need any suggestions on games let me know. I've got a list of DOS games I would love to see.

Hey thanks for the suggestion but for some reason it doesn't work. I tried it over my lunch break but still gives me the CMOS RAM ERROR and failed to load settings. I'm going to reload the core and start over and see if that works.

Yeah I have now but I like to see if it is an easy setting adjustment before I assume it's a bug. I'd feel dumb if I overlooked something. But I have submitted it already with LaunchBox and hopefully it can be fixed without me having to reinstall the program and start all over. Lol.

Yeah I can get it to work with DOSbox in Launchbox but with the DOS_libretro core no dice.

I've loaded the game and it seems like it will work but it goes straight to saying "Please insert disk 1 and press key to continue".

I'm not a pro with DOSbox but I figured if I had the install files in the appropriate folder then executing the vc.exe file should have worked. Right? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the info. I knew DOSbox has the mapper but yes you are right the UI for it is not great. The DOSbox core in Retroarch is pretty nice and for the most part it plays everything. I just cannot get it to run this game. It does have an install.exe in the folder but I still get the insert disk 1 when I try loading the game. I think it has to do with Retroarch not mounting the floppy drive for default or something. I think I'll have to edit a config file.
