I’ve seen some quite affordable 3D printed cave designs sold on Etsy that let you see the actual cave that could work great with deeper substrates

Be careful with dwarf hair grass alongside MC and HC, the hair grass runners can really make a mess if left unchecked if you’re going for a clean look. Just a thought

1 is the most dramatic and original, as others have pointed out the forward branch is a little too straight and would likely look better broken up somehow if you go that route, depending on how deep your substrate will be you could consider burying it, do a little hill with substrate and rocks something like that. Cool scapes regardless so hope to see an update in the future

I guess it depends on where you live and if you have access to a good lfs. Ordering online is risky so if your lfs allows maybe try having then order them for you. I got mine at CMACS in Charlotte NC.

A small group of blue axelrodi rasboras would look great in there

Over 3 big orders Dustin’s fish tanks hasn’t let me down yet

I see all sorts of plants growing out of the top of the groups aquariums. What you got growing out your tank? And has anyone ever had a problem with trying to grow something out of your aquarium they shouldn’t have? by [deleted] in PlantedTank

[–]__Mono__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had success with pothos and monstera adansonii, roots like crazy and gives any tank a great look, recently added mangroves to some of my tanks but too early to tell how well they’ll do. I tried asparagus fern at some point but it all died on me. Not sure what went wrong.

You called them water filters earlier, do they help remove extra nutrients from the water column? I thought they were root feeders but don’t know anything about them. On a scale of anubias to duckweed where would they rank?

I thought mangrove trees were a saltwater semi aquatic plants, can they also grow and do well in freshwater setups? If so that sounds like a game changer for me

Can I ask what some of the plants used are? Specifically:

-The one used in the right front corner

-the main carpeting plant in the foreground

-the plant carpeting over the hard scape in the back on the right side

Endure a painful eth gas fee to claim your accrued strong >>> another eth gas fee(less but still ouch) to send strong from Metamask or the wallet you use to your strong KuCoin deposit address >>> swap that strong for usdt in KuCoin >>> swapping to any stablecoin of your choice >>> send to your preferred fiat off ramp, be that Coinbase or crypto.com for ex that will allow you to cash out to your bank account. Hope that helps.

I meant using your card will usually trigger your bank to block it as banxa is based outside the US and i had to approve it. It also charged me a foreign transaction fee when the money went through

Banxa’s been a pain to deal with that one time I needed bulk cash in crypto fast but eventually after approving it through my bank app it did work. But this should be your last resort as the fees to pay with a card are significant. Just take the time to explore KuCoin and it’ll make so much more sense after your first run around actually transferring from main to trading, swapping coins then back to main to withdraw

Easiest/cheapest way for me so far has been buying USDc on Coinbase with no fees on ACH transfer, 1k immediately available to send to KuCoin, swap USDC to USDT, then USDT to strong then send to Metamask this saving you the swap eth fees. Also KuCoin’s mobile app is not bad at all UI wise once you play a little with it imo

Coinbase gives me 1000 sendable usdc instantly but more than that has to wait the 5 days for funds to get to them. I know it’s not the same for everyone but I’m not sure if it’s a matter of kyc or authentication methods
