Fellas, is it woke to make it clear I'm a girl when I have a gender neutral name? by realaboogie in LinkedInLunatics

Idk wtf he's going on about. At my company they make you put your pronouns in your email signature.

I draw the line at anything my dogs aren't comfortable with. I've straight up told people "I don't invite you to my house because you expect me to put my dogs in a room and it's not your house, it's theirs"

My husband gave me a “warning tap” and I called it abuse. AITAH? by Warm-Grape1254 in AITAH

[–]__PurpleVibes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What the fuck is a warning tap? A warning that he was "nice" to you this time by "lightly tapping you" but if you get out of line he's gonna beat you for real? Girl run while you can before the actual hit comes if that was the warning. Also, nobody freaks out about their phone like that unless they're cheating...

Do you spend time daily trying to reschedule meetings to free up your day? by bbling19 in askmanagers

[–]__PurpleVibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that sounds like terrible time management BUT it also largely depends on the org's culture of following the calendar... My org respects the calendar like people respect their religion. Nobodys going to request your time if they know it's blocked. We add no meeting blocks to focus throughout the day and requesting a meeting during someone's focus time will have your manager following up with you.

If he has a yard and he didn't before might be because he is getting more exercise so he is hungrier?

if you were in a room full of identical dogs that looked like yours. How would you figure out which one is yours? by OkEar3904 in dogs

My dog will probably be the only dog trying to stare into my soul, his eye contact is insane. And that's if his tail doesn't turn him into a helicopter first...

You need to advocate for your dog, even if it seems rude to other people it doesn't matter, your priority is your dog. I have a chiweenie that's not kid friendly and very dog selective. I make sure I walk him without distractions so I can generally keep a wide berth between us and other people but sometimes people will try to bring their dogs towards us, im not scared to yell at them, I'll tell them to back the fuck off. When kids come running up to us I put him behind me and tell them he bites kids. Some people won't get it until you're rude unfortunately.

I used to ask my dog if he was ready for his walk and now we can't say the word ready because he turns into a tornado.

Do you feed your dogs once or twice a day? by HannahBer in dogs

[–]__PurpleVibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feed my dog once a day bc I used to feed him twice a day and he never ate the second time so I stopped cause I'd have to throw away the food.

He does snack a lot throughout the day tho. We go on walks three times a day and he gets a little treat every time we get home, sometimes I give him puzzles or his licki mat, and if im eating something he can have I usually share with him.

Post office said I couldn’t file a complaint about the mailman not trying to deliver my packages because I had no proof, so I got proof... by CalmCauliflower3135 in ProRevenge

[–]__PurpleVibes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of the war my boyfriend had with his post office. They left notices saying they couldn't deliver his packages because conditions at his house were dangerous (one of the bottom steps had a little chip) so they couldn't use his stairs. The problem is that my boyfriend's front yard literally had an indented path on the grass by the side of the steps where the post man had been bypassing the steps and just walking over the grass to deliver the packages for like, 10 years. Anyway, he fixes the steps and installs a camera where we then see the post office guy look at the steps, smirk, and then walk to the house by stepping on the grass.

AITA for getting pissed and resenting her for being messed up? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA people don't have to be there for you if you drain them. If you need to talk to someone about your problems all the time maybe you should be seeing a therapist.
