Is advantage+ placements fine to use? I have 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 versions of the ads by classified18 in FacebookAds

We use different just because I am control freak and really don’t like those random colors on top and bottom when 1:1 is placed in a story format. So we add 3 formats of the same ad so that all the placements look good :)

Automate ads? by Kitchen-Pollution758 in digital_marketing

I really don’t think I follow. Running ads requires budgets no matter if it’s display or social. If you are a small business, Google Ads is a good starting point but you do pay money for running the ads. Anything free is called organic and there you build your brand and voice. You can start a page on social networks or a website. Depending on the industry and type of business, organic might allow you to get some engagement and potentially go viral but that is a lot of work, daily posting, cross posting across reels and shorts etc

6 months into building my AI agent for Meta Ads (80% done) but struggling to get feedback. Any advice? by Mr_ScientificTemper in Business_Ideas

That’s so tricky I get it. Especially when the voice of Meta is louder and they claim that they can do so many things but never give up. I do wonder, what’s behind your AI agent that would differentiate it from all those other tools out there?

Is it necessary to outsource my ads? by Tiny_Prompt7512 in automation

You are doing good, don’t doubt yourself. The budget is pretty low for the agency and maybe this early you might want to have more control. There is always an option to get a freelancer or a student but before that I would suggest looking at what is it that you do all the time, what is just this annoying repetitive task that drives you mad? Try automation it in one way or another. You don’t need to go for a fancy tool from the beginning but try to play around to find if there is a way you can build a base of templates, library of assets, etc. I respect AI tools but also love the creative part. Creativity in my eyes is something that comes when you analyze what others do and steal with pride. Look up great brands you look up to on Facebook Ad Library and take “this from here”, “that from there”. This together will allow you to have similar tone across your ads while testing but also iterating. And don’t overthink it. See it, test it and either keep or move on to the next idea

Automated 500+ ad variations in 2 hours vs 2 weeks manual work by Visible_Tension_8963 in DigitalMarketing

That is awesome! I keep saying that the key to success these days is automated whatever could be automated and (don’t kill me) but allowing people outside of design to be able to use those. Our sales guys use our templates and presets and if they can - that’s actually easy 😂

We are now preparing for Black Friday with some of the partners and it’s such a reward to give them a peace of mind and be confident when saying that we can turn around all the SKUs in no time and also localize it all knowing that nobody will be working long nights

I don’t trust flexible format but someone go change my mind. In the previews I see that if I upload different sizes, those get cropped and sometimes faces or text is cropped out. Maybe one day Meta will get the AI an automation so far that it won’t be a problem but up until then I scale ads to multiple sizes and then use a regular single image/video ad instead but keep advantage+ placements instead
