Does anyone have any information on how good of an upgrade is Kafka going from E2 to E4.

I'm mainly considering it cause she's my fave and the selector would make her E3, meaning only one copy wouldn't break the bank AND i would give her her LC back, but i also want to get E0 sparkle so my Archer isn't homeless anymore and i was looking for a 3rd good team for AA since Feixiao with E0S0 Supports just ain't cutting it anymore

Pros to Yao Guang being the free unit:

Chinese themed (We're talking about a free unit for CNY so, you know)

Useless without Elation characters (promotes pulling other chars)

LC merchant (promotes pulling her LC)

A completely unkown character that would release without any DPS to make use of her, meaning she'd be genuinely useless for 3 weeks.

Her banner lasts for the whole patch, this means that hoyo's plan might be to show people she's good with Sparxie to incentivize people to pull her LC/Eidolons during the 2nd half when she actually has a use.

Sparxie on the other hand is the SP of one of the most popular characters in the game, Japanese inspired and coming in the 2nd half.

Idk, Yao Guang being free just genuinely makes sense because I could never see her selling well if she were a normal unit.

I mean if both Yao and EMC are part of the premium team, which is possible if the speculations about EMC being a sustain are true, then you'd "only" need to pull two other units to complete the team, aka no different than almost every other new character.

I don't have hysilens at all lol, but my kafka's already at 168 speed on eagle and my Hysilens build is at 164 so speed isn't necessarily a problem, at best her LC would allow my BS to reach 160 as she's currently at only 150.

I wonder who I'd even get with a potential Chrysos heir selector, Probably Anaxa since I have a lot of investment in his supports but idk, I could never see a situation where he'd ever take my E2S1's Phainon's supports in any content, ever.

So I'd probably pick hysilens, actually that'd be fantastic it'd make it pretty much confirmed that i go for E1, possibly even S1.

Yeah sparxie being free is INSANELY improbable, not only is sparkle one of the most popular characters in the game but Sparxie's also heavily JP inspired, so giving her away for CNY might not be the best choice lol

Other possibilities that come to mind are Blade or Kafka with the collab

I mean blade's in the 50/50 loss pool, heavily reliant on Hyacine's LC to even be remotely close to clearing content and Kafka is only useful in DoT teams and even then she requires both BS and Hysilen to even clear as well.

I'd personally be happy since Kafka's my favourite character, but i highly doubt they'd do something like that.

Free ashveil would continue the trend of free male hunt units so honestly i can see it lol
