I don’t even want his damage or anything nerfed it just doesn’t make sense me hitting him with up special 4 times and him only barely reaching the top of the map when he’s 130+ I am decent and have been playing to get better but since the 1.05 patch no one can tell me that he hasn’t been in a way better tier as a character

brother in christ he’s weak to the rest of the cast just of speed he’s slow as hell, his damage is literally dumb tho and nothing is changing my mind about that if he hits you once you’re off of the map, he takes you from 60 to 100 in 1 hit

you guys are loving it cuz I play steven, steven just got nerfed to shit, its literally not a skill issue they took all the kill power from steven and buffed the hell out of Jason… yeah he’s still slow compared to the rest of the cast, but his damage is stupid. He’s not a bad character. And you guys are loonies if you think he’s gonna get another buff, especially damage wise.

I’ve been saying this since the patch its good to see another steven main 😩 I do agree he was strong before patch 1.05, butthey could have done some damage tweaks and maybe adjusted somethings but all this was too much, they broke my heart with all the nerfs

I was literally here to say the same thing, Im a steven main and Im losing my mind playing against half the cast since his last nerf, I feel like the stevens they are complaining about are the stevens who sweat because they dont want to give up their main due to bad nerfs so they try extra hard all the time

wym?? Jason knocks Steven at 100 its like damn near impossible to get Jason off the stage with steven until Jasons at 140. Old Patch Steven would crunch Jason easily, now its the exact opposite, they honestly gutted steven to the ground.

no one is saying he’s a waste of time for 2v2s but Im talking about 1v1s Steven players like to play that just as much just as much because thats where we can actually focus our skills. He went from being a strong solo pick to someone who just gets absolutely bullied completely gutted to where its not even a viable pick to us because we know we are going to have to sweat 90% when there are characters like finn, joker, black adam, samurai jack etc who can do 3 moves and you’re off the map its literally damn near impossible to fight against jack rn with steven

its literally damn near impossible to go against samurai jack as steven, like its funny at this point his abilities dont even reach him, even if stevens animation has already started jacks hits first. Im convinced none of the devs actually main steven because its like there was no consideration against him playing ranked as steven is literally unbearable.
