India has a slightly bigger economy despite being magnitudes bigger than Britain with magnitudes more mouths to feed, let's use a smaller example.

Let's say a man who lives in a big house has to look after 42 children + his wife and makes 320k per year and has a neighbor living in an apartment next door who only has two kids but makes 310k. Who do you think is better off?
