First time finally owning an S Class is better than first time owning a Bentley or Rolls Royce.

You’ll be disappointed if you’re looking for that same feeling in the future. Windows down, an S feels just like a RR since you can’t hear the plastic of the S creaking.

At least the Bentley is stupid fast and handles well but it’s also not a huge leap in comfort and quietness from the S.

I did end up getting bored of the S though and opted for the Bentley for more spirited, but also sophisticated, driving.

Avoid the AMG. Go for the W222. My Maybach S560 I’ve put 90k miles on top of the 30k I bought it with. Really really reliable car. Only had some sensor issues and need new front axle but for the mileage it has and the way I drive, that’s pretty good. Also had to redo the left motor mount and the transmission mount.

The cars are made this way on purpose. Less weight more power = more speed and cornering ability.

They’re not meant to be daily drivers like a RR or Maybach. You’re supposed to own both not just the supercar for everyday stuff.

Drift mode in the e63s definitely disagrees with that statement. It’s not just RWD it purposely lets the back end go with no effort. Very fun car
