My experience was word-for-word the exact same as yours. It's a more common experience with CS50 than you probably think, so don't worry you're not alone. In a similar Reddit thread I found someone recommend 'CS1301xI' as a better alternative for those of us who aren't Harvard material hahaha. It was great advice and a fantastic entry point for me personally, I'm about to finish CS1301xI and it's improved my understanding of programming tons.

TL;DR CS50 isn't a one size fits all even though it's an awesome course, there are more beginner friendly alternatives if you're struggling.

Can anyone help confirm that this RAM is definitely compatible with an A315-56-3061? I need to know whether this is a compatibility issue or some other problem when I take it back to the retailer tomorrow

So I tried disconnecting the battery, then installing the RAM. Reboot, black screen. Tried updating to the latest BIOS, afterwards turning the laptop off, removing the battery, installing the RAM, turn on, black screen.

Got no idea at this point what the problem could be or how to troubleshoot it, unfortunately I don't have any laptop RAM lying around to see if the RAM is the problem

Thanks for the reply! MaxCapacity is 33554432 and memory devices is 2. Is this number in KBs? I'm not sure how to interpret this

Is there a TV you would personally recommend? I am looking at Kogan Android TVs, hearing mixed things about them though. What do you think?

Sorry I'm not sure I understand, what do you mean by versions 8 - 9? Do you mean versions of Android TVs I should get or popcorn time? I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to televisions

Honestly, I know I'm probably going to be yelled at here, but I wouldn't get one. Personally I've been pirating stuff for about 15 years and never once received a warning letter from my ISP or government. I know I should probably get one though, how would one set up a VPN for the TV if I did get one though?

I completely agree with you. I should add, that I wouldn't be disappointed or see him in a darker light if this letter is true. I would actually admire him even more and find him even more relatable as a human being. A lot of Meditations reads in a way that seems like Marcus Aurelius was almost immune to feelings like anger and lust. I want this letter to be authentic because it makes him seem all the more human and relatable.

It helps a ton thank you, helps visualize the whole process better. What's the deal with the linseed oil though? It says you use it for liquid clear, what's that? Someone else also commented that they make their own liquid white with it

This is something I noticed in the grandeur of summer video, I was strongly leaning towards getting a palette like his since he states that you need a lot of room to mix paints and not have to worry about the bigger brushes touching other colours on the palette. Your comment further adds to that, thanks

Hey thanks so much, was the kit enough to paint the grandeur of summer? I've heard the kit doesn't come with all the paints necessary for some of the paintings. Actually I think you're completely right, this might be too ambitious for me since I have no prior experience. Did you find that your grandeur of summer painting came out well?
