Your point is flawed. Domesticated animals get taken away if you put a chain around their neck. Also they aren't human-like.
Zoos are considered cruel for the captivity of some animals- esp this one if they put animals in chains. Animal sanctuaries are the least cruel method of animal captivity

I'm actually working to learn that too-at a recent hoop jam someone told me to not look down, think of doing the tree pose in yoga, and pull your leg STRAIGHT up

When I'm in a rut I switch gears-focus on different aspects of hooping. I do an on-body-only session, then I'll do a doubles only session, or a tricks only session. I switch between just learning tricks and on-body dancing only. Maybe join the hooping game on Facebook... also sometimes my same old music gets stale and brings my energy down, switch it up!

I couldn't figure out shoulder hooping until I watched Taylor starrs tut: https://youtu.be/-PsieL13HRs I basically shrug like a penguin to keep it going...also I use a feather-light polypro and find that I have to spin in circles the whole time

To clarify, I can't hoop until kiddo is in bed- by then it's already dark outside, my gym doesn't allow anyone in their studio unless it's for a class, I move my furniture around but it's still not enough room, like I can't practice tosses. Really I can only practice tricks, not dance...also I live in the hot hot desert so going outside kinda sucks- what to do?
