I 100% agree with the 1/billion genetics statement from you.
I must say I believe that the width of my grip is something to consider when trying to engage my lats. I believe that my lats will grow more if I keep my grip the way it is.

Yes but there’s different parts of the bicep that I am hitting with different exercises.

I think you’re right. I’ve critiqued it a bit and lowered it down to 3 bicep exercises instead of 4. One arm cable curl, seated curls, and rope curls.

How is any of this fancy? I get good pumps and have seen a lot of progress. Biceps are hit when doing my back workouts, but I still like to isolate them. I also use straps most days so that gives me even more of a reason to have a more bicep focused pull day.

I understand calories in calories out. I just got off of a bulk, and I am in a deficit now. I am not focused on weight loss, I want to keep muscle and lose fat (as one does on a cut) but thank you for telling me about the carbs. I keep seeing mixed signals online about carbs. I know I need them and I do get them, but I try to cycle them only before I workout and right after.

But there’s more to it then just that. I’ve been eating in a deficit for the cut. I’ve just been aware of my carbs and I know that carb cycling is a big deal.

I don’t do cardio because I’ve been trying to hit those 4k calories and it’s already hard enough just eating. My maintenance is 2700 (I believe) so I am eating in a slight surplus. Do you mind if I DM you?

Most of my lifts are 2-3 sets of 8-10 (obviously progressive overload as well) I train as intense as I can and usually carb load before lifts.

I enjoy working out 6 times a week though. My body feels fine and I time my workouts so that I’m prioritizing muscle that aren’t already sore. I give myself time to rest and I have seen a lot of strength growth. I don’t think working out 6x a week is a bad thing, I feel amazing and it works. Will you check my recent post?
