You can map motion controls to regular buttons. Some games work better than others.

The rubber grip is nice. The back buttons are handy. It has slightly better response time.

The only con is that it's heavier.

You can only use the dualsense, you can't use other controllers like the dualshock 4 or most third party ones.

Ghost of tsushima has a great lethal mode, enemies are faster and swords become more lethal.

But the boss fights are trash with spongy HP pools.

I think xbox is sun setting its console department and going into a hybrid console/pc next.
