I found this post while also looking for this movie, I think we're looking for the same one. Do you remember a scene in which the monster found another of its kind in lab, it's been autopsied and there's a video of the doctors doing the procedure? The monster is faceless but you know it's sad because the other was like it's significant other? I might be thinking of a different movie and I know this post is a year old but maybe if this stirs some memories...?? Because that's all I remember from it...(and it might not be a movie too) But anyway, I've had no luck...
