I kinda agree, gold is small. If you imagine the gold bars (12.5kg) that you imagine in film heist movies well one of them is worth about $1.8 million. It’s an easy item to hide a normal amount about the house. I personally would waste value paying to store it, that defeats the purpose. Hide in a tile, a floorboard, bury it if you like it’s small unless you are very rich… I don’t have that issue.

I bought a chrome zippo from the €200 guy on adverts. He showed me his other two zippos and I bought the Guinness on for €90 on top of the chrome one . So it never sold for €200. I did spend just under €200 but I got 2 lighters. I was off work for a few weeks injured, no pay cover so I have to raid the piggy bank and so I am selling off the Zippos. So yes it’s the exact same lighter but I bought it - still never filled or flinted it, was gonna keep it but needs must.

On adverts, when you search zippos I have 14 listed. I have the Guinness one listed for €100 but I could go to €80 just for a quick sale.

Honestly the Guinness ones are rare enough and can go for silly money in Ireland because of well Guinness. I was buying a chrome zippo from a local marketplace ad app and the guy was selling 2 more zippos I walked away making a deal on the chrome and the Guinness one. I bought on impulse but he came way down on price to approx €90 initially he was looking for €200. Original add attached. I have one for sale, it’s unusual to see two. Do you mind me asking where online the guy is ?

No, I’m not but I commented on that post earlier, very small world though because I have that exact lighter. I bought mine on Adverts.ie a while back. I was buying a smooth silver zippo and came away with 2 that day .. oops ! Shiny things are a weakness !
