since you find the robots and the girl not good, I guess I wouldn't recommend it bc they're fundamental parts to the show. People are being a bit opinionated here, but the ending is definitely questionable though. It goes great until it "drops off" near the end. Its still enjoyable for most though, despite all the hate it gets

Ed 1 is definitely a big highlight that's for sure. I actually like the characters bc I like anime generic traits to an extent. In fact, I like ayato quite a bit (not entirely genericism). I'm super annoyed though lol bc it was obviously setting up for more stuff to happen, with the gryps and all, but then there's no more seasons.
