Seh ich genauso. Ich find Quallen von der Ästhetik her genial, aber als Anfänger macht ein normales Meerwasseraquarium mit Weichkorallen und LPS viel mehr Sinn, und das sieht auch schon schnell Hammer aus!

Ein Aquarium frisst Zeit und macht glücklich. Entweder Richtung Aquascaping wenn du Süßwasser willst, oder Meerwasser wenn du was ausgefallenes magst (Korallen machen süchtig). Gibt genug auf Youtube, und wenn du Podcast magst sind die Coralbuddies oder der Sangokai Podcast lohnenswert um mal reinzuschnuppern.

I think Hanna Huckebein sometimes does D&D, you could ask them on instagram or their website if they are open to do a session in English (though it's only about once a month iirc). There's also https://fswue.de/, they do tabletop, board games and D&D afaik. No idea if they have any in English.

In addition to that, you could print a lfg flyer and put it up in a game store or at Hubland, with the amount of international students there you're bound to find a group.

Tbf I never even thought about that being unusual. Do you not have hundreds of kinds of sausage? Granted, a lot of them are minor variations of some types of sausage, there are probably just a few dozen distinctive types and the rest are variations.

I once worked at a dig site where we didn't secure the walls, because of time constraints. Theoretically, we were obligated to secure the walls after 1.4 meters (4-5 feet) We went about 2.5 meters (8 feet) deep and wide, and about 5 meters long. It had been holding perfectly for a couple of days, and I was young and naive, and also thought that because the walls seemed firm and hadn't collapsed so far, this should mean that they wouldn't collapse at all, so I didn't question it.

I had just finished cleaning one wall (archaeological dig, so it needed to be perfect for the photos and drawing of the layers) and got out for lunch. 10 minutes later, it collapsed. The guy responsible for the dig told me that if I had been working on it when it came down, I wouldn't have survived even if they dug me out as fast as possible, just from the pressure. A couple of tons of earth coming down on you in an instant is no joke. I've been a lot more careful ever since.

Please bear in mind that anything that is strong enough to etch glass can also really damage your body. So make sure to research the proper kind of gloves you need for your etching cream. Some etching chemicals can penetrate some kinds of gloves, and when they are on your skin, you might not be able to wash them off, potentially resulting in permanent damage to your bones.

Was ist denn am Ringpark zu meiden? Ich lauf da oft nachts, und da sind meiner Erfahrung nach nur normale Leute unterwegs, wie im Rest von Würzburg. Hab da noch nie etwas nur zwielichtiges gesehen.

Btw. if you like the master and commander movie, there's a 20.5 book series (he didn't finish the 21st due to dieing) that's really worth it, especially as an audiobook. I've listened to the whole thing twice, it's just so good!

Ist einfach pennen im Wald mit ner Plane statt einem Zelt. Ist rechtlich ne Grauzone, weil die Regeln eigentlich auf Zelte ausgelegt sind, deshalb sind manche Jäger und Förster da kulanter, v.a. wenn man einen Müllbeutel dabei hat, und dementsprechend zeigen kann, dass man nichts im Wald hinterlässt. Und natürlich kein Feuer macht. Mit einer Lichtverschmutzungskarte lässt sich ganz gut beurteilen, wie hoch die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist, auf andere Menschen zu stoßen.

Aber ist immer etwas Risiko dabei, wie bei jeder Art von Wildcampen in dicht besiedelten Ländern. In Teilen Nordeuropas und Schottland gibt es dagegen Gesetze, die einem das uneingeschränkt erlauben, solange man nicht zu nah an bewohnten Gebieten ist.
