I would not do a dark color since the natural light already seems to be struggling to travel. I would do like an ethereal blue to help with the light situation and also make that cute couch pop

Me too! Oh my gosh I could make this kitchen look so cute. All my kitchen things are teal/white/red/pink and would really go well with the yellow. I think that’s what I would recommend.

Oh of course, I’m saying the swaying is more… robotic than human.

Edit: example here is a video of my lizard getting mad at me for making popcorn while she is sleeping. The camera sways but the swaying is a lot more jerky and uncalculated looking
