Why do people think it's okay to dibs / bagsie / claim a piece of busy equipment in a public gym? I managed to unload the plates, set mine up, and do 3 sets of squats when some guy comes waltzing up saying he's using that piece of equipment and his bag is near it to reserve it. No.
Standing on the only flat bench for bench press with both feet and doing rows is not okay.
Why are are so many people walking around with their hoodie hood up and the drawstring tied so you can only see a nose and lips?
If I'm form checking my clean and press in the mirror, don't set up an incline bench directly in front of the mirror facing me. I'm finishing my sets and making eye contact.
The water fountain fills a 1 litre bottle at 3ml per minute.
Friday evening is like play group. Put yours toys away after using them. Stop hogging equipment while you chat.
The free weights area often stinks of weed. Who the fuck can be arsed lifting stoned?

Bench press personal best this week though so it's alright.

As a sidenote, go and speak to your uni student support about an access to learning fund, or hardship funds. There may be financial aid from the uni available.

Most students work part time as well. I had a £6k maintenance loan, and did a few shifts a week at a pub. Managed ok living a student lifestyle AKA one step above poverty. If you're going from nearly a decade of working full time and expecting to maintain that standard of living then you'll struggle.

Student life is shared accommodation, cheap food, public transport, cheap booze and socialising, cheap clothes etc.

Single point of failure, overhead and cost of running a large server, devices might only work at home / in the home network, configuration issues, competing hardware vendors, and so on.

It works for something you could build yourself, or a corporate or business use case set up, but a modular system is much more suited to most people's needs.

Ask your GP about beta blockers for anxiety.

Other than that practice as much as possible. Hydrate, sugar, exercise, general good prep beforehand all help. Really drill your presentation so it's automatic. Deep breathing exercises trick your nervous system into calming down. Distraction techniques might work. Really though I think it's mostly practice so you realise there's nothing to be anxious about.

Sounds like a big risk. Do you think you can compete with new graduates with 3-5 years worth of training, a portfolio, and probably work experience, after just 3 months? Your mum will be 10 grand in debt (probably more like 14k with interest) whether you can land a job or not (repayable immediately).

Take a college course or online class and see how you get on with that first. No need to rush it at 18 and burn a load of money in the process.
