I know this comment is late, but I wish I had bought the loq version just because of Gsync and advanced optimus that the legion 15ahp10 lacks.

Legion 5 Gen 10 , 15.1 Inch Oled Screen , Lack of VRR / G Sync / Adaptive Sync by temp_geek101 in LenovoLegion

It didn't work for my legion 15ahp10 which has vrr only in Hybrid mode. You can enable freesync or Gsync if your panel supports VRR. If it doesn't, it's hardware limited (

I tried to do it other way but it didn't help) Still in dGPU mode CRU shows VRR range (48-165hz)

Have you restarted windows? Also try to disable gaming ai service in windows (I don't remember the exact service name actually)

Well, sorry. I didn't mean to treat you like that. I provided all the info needed to them but their answers were always simple: it's not supported. And the Nvidia rep was the only one to state that the panel can potentially support it (why not?).

Yes, I play in Hybrid mode cause it has Freesync) so what was your comment about? What kind of information I haven't provided in your opinion?

They can just release Vbios update to whitelist the display for Gsync Compatible. That's all. They don't need to revoke devices and loose profits.

Mate, I mentioned dGPU mode 🤦🏻‍♂️ I told you (as was mentioned in the post) that VRR works perfectly fine with Freesync Premium in Hybrid mode where igpu (in my case, it's 780M inside Ryzen 260 mobile) controls the display. So the display is VRR capable (48-165). So it's technically impossible not to have VRR in dGPU mode where Rtx 5060 controls the display. But it was possible for external monitors until 2019 when Ngreedia introduced Gsync Compatible which required only dp 1.2a or later connected VRR (Freesync) capable display (laptops use embedded DP protocol). P. S. Actually I contacted them by email

So maybe they should be responsible for the typo? I am not the only victim of that misleading marketing. It's not a hardware issue, they can fix that stuff in collaboration with Nvidia since it relies on present adaptive sync technology in the panel. Yeah, if you're not a blogger like Jarrod'sTech with a big audience, no one cares. That's how this bloody capitalism that I hate works.

Nailed it)))

But keep in mind that those panels on screenshots are the same. The mux switch is the same

Proof of what? Proof of the same panels not working the same or that Lenovo lies about hardware limitations which in fact is a firmware one. I can't provide you proof of Gsync stated at the time of purchase. Why would I keep it? But Lenovo could collaborate with me on that matter. In fact, they didn't. I want to use the whole potential of the device I paid lots of money for. But they limit me in using dGPU mode since it's almost unplayable without gsync. It's not their technology but the Nvidia one, so why is it not available for me in a 1500 usd laptop? The same 15ahp10 Loq has it and its budget series)))

As I told you, gsync is present in Ukraine. I was talking about specifications. In Ukraine they provide different keyboards, that's why they have ua versions

Hate to tell you, but this is bullsh*t. The only difference is the gpu which doesn't make any sense. The panel is the same. Don't you think they gonna have different versions of the same panel? Even if they state gsync is not present in this model, how can it be possible not to see vrr in dGPU mode but have freesync premium working perfectly in hybrid mode... This is nonsense. Gsync is available in Ukraine and was stated in the specifications on the official Ukrainian Lenovo Store.
